Cacao Bites
INGREDIENTS:
2.5 c rice puffs
1/2 c desiccated coconut
1/2 c maple syrup
3 tbs peanut butter (or almond butter)
3 tbs coconut oil
1/4 c cacao nibs
1/4 c cacao
1/4 c cranberries (or sultanas/gojis)
Optional Extras:
2 tbs hemps seeds
2 tbs LSA
METHOD:
Combine all the dry ingredients into. mixing bowl and combine well.
In a second bowl add the coconut oil an peanut butter and either transfer to the microwave or stovetop for 10-15 secs to melt. Add in the maple syrup and consistently stir until you reach a smooth consistency.
Combine the wet and the dry ingredients together and mix.
Pour the mixture into a lined square cake dish and using a spoon push down firmly securing a tight slab.
Place in the freezer to set for 30 minutes.
Remove, cut and store in the refridgerator.
